Well, it’s been a busy start to the year at my studio, meeting some lovely new clients all keen to start/re-engage with drawing and painting. The broad variety of subjects and styles has been really exciting and interesting from my perspective, I very much look forward to assisting further with your artistic aspirations in the months ahead.

My brushes have been ‘smoking’ during January/ February with entries for some national competitions including Portrait Artist of The Year, RA Summer Exhibition, David Shepherd Wildlife Artist of the Year, Landscape Artist of The Year and the Derwent Drawing Prize so now it’s a nail biting wait for the selections! If nothing else it’s very satisfying to see my own improvement year on year, there is always so much to try and experiment with, I never lack inspiration.
